About Roof Gold Coast

What we are

Roof Gold Coast is a referral website for roofing on the Gold Coast. We are not a roofing company. When you call or send the form, we pass your job to an independent local roofing contractor who inspects the roof and gives you a written quote. The contractor carries out the work and is responsible for it.

Why we set it up this way

Getting a roof quoted can be harder than it should be. Calls go unanswered, quotes arrive as one number with no detail, and it is hard to compare one price with another. Our aim is narrower and more useful: get the right kind of roofer to your house, make sure the roof is actually inspected, and help you know what a good quote looks like.

What we ask of contractors

• Inspect the roof and roof space before quoting, and share photos.
• Put the scope in writing, line by line.
• Hold the QBCC licence and the insurance the job needs. Ask to see them, and check the licence on the QBCC online register before work starts.
• Use licensed asbestos removalists where asbestos is involved, as Workplace Health and Safety Queensland requires.
